I've been using Time 4 Learning for my 3 children now since October 2015. After a sudden move across state we were looking for something that we could jump into without much preparation. I have really enjoyed the reporting portfolio. Each day I am able to see what my kids have accomplished with seconds.
My youngest student, 2nd grade, is able to work independently and when she is done I can pull up the lessons she did not master in after checking her portfolio and help her redo them.
This feature can also be adjusted to view a week, a month our be customized. The customization option helps me see their overall grades.
My 6th and 8th grader are able to use the portfolio to see which items they need to redo and master also. They can look by subject, assignment and or time.
My one thing I would change on the portfolio is the editing abilities for teacher/parents. If one of my students does horrible bad on a test it will affect their overall score. For instance if my student gets a 20% first test and after restudying and retaking gets a 100% it well still show as unmastered with a 60% average. I would love the ability to erase a score through the teachers section. Overall though the record portfolio is a great feature.
